Bonhoeffer was a Lutheran pastor and a leader of the Confessing Church in Germany during WWII. The Confessing Church refused to support the Nazi regime\, and although Bonhoeffer originally fled Germany for safety\, he returned to play an active role in opposition to the Nazis. We will be showing a film biography of Bonhoeffer on 3/10 and start reading his book next week. Classes usually begin at 11:30 AM\, and all are welcome.
