  • June 17th, Father’s Day,. Will need a cake for each service. Fr. Paul will ask Stewart about writing a prayer for that day, and fathers will be named by the congregation during the Prayers of the People.
  • June 24th, Graduation Sunday. Good Shepherd scholarships will be presented to the recipients.
  • July 1, Honduras Commissioning Sunday
  • July 4 parade float. Parade Theme: Uncle Sam Wants You . . . To enjoy Independence Day. Suggestions for float theme: liberty and faith as related in Scripture.
  • July 29, Diane Butler, member of the national Executive Council, to speak about National Church topics – will be a 5th Sunday combined service and also a Deacon’s Mass.
  • August 19th, Jan Hosea and Fr. Paul will present an “echoing sermon.” Between the services, Jan will present a program on Africa.
  • September 9, Rally Day (in-reach ministries) – Roy Benavides presenting information on Brotherhood of St. Andrew.
  • September 16, Hymns in the Limbs, Gomez Peak Pavilion
  • September 23, Service at Ft. Bayard, commemoration of Ted Howden.
  • September 30, Combined Service at 9:30. Theme: Stewardship
  • Late September or early October – Three Bowl Opera, by Martha Blacklock. Focuses on the Eucharist.
